The dreaded 1st entry

Being a dad is hard. Being a dad who is a christian is no different. I don’t know about you but I don’t feel up to the task.

The truth about me is I grew up without a dad. I’ll spare the immense details, but let’s just say I wish I would have had one. Mainly because I would have had a dad to learn from. But as the saying goes, it is what it is.

So when I decided to search for answers my path was directed by our one and only dad, God. And just for clarification, I call God the Father my Dad so there is no future confusion. Plus, so everyone knows, I mean that as a term of endearment and is in no way an attempt at disrespect.

You may be asking what can I expect from this blog? I am just an average christian dad who is trying to walk God’s path of fatherhood. I’ll share my successes and my failures in an attempt to encourage other dad’s who are also on the path or finding the path of fatherhood.

God bless
